The AKTA Sponsors the Inclusive Fitness Coalition’s Legislation of bill S. 531
The Inclusive Fitness Coalition supports S. 531, the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans Act. This bill would require HHS to produce physical activity guidelines every ten years. The guidelines are designed to provide information and guidance on the types and amounts of physical activity that provide substantial health benefits for all Americans. The rapidly evolving nature of our scientific understanding of the benefits of physical activity requires that the guidelines be updated at least every ten years.
